Strolling through Nishi-Shinjuku, the skyscraper business district, is one of my favorite pastimes in Tokyo. I love to wander aimlessly for while, then to climb to the Tokyo Metropolitan Building observatories to admire (and to photograph) them from above.
Here’s one of the views: from left to right, Shinjuku Sumitomo Building (built in 1974), Shinjuku Mitsui Building (1974), Shinjuku Sompo Japan Building (1976) , Shinjuku Center Building (1979), Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower (2008), Keio Plaza Hotel (1971).
